Are you angry, confused, sad?

Have you given it all? Have you done your best? Have you reflected and feel satisfied with your words and actions and still God said, “no”? It’s as if you’re standing in a hallway and the door is shut!

God might say no for a few reasons:
1) It’s not the best time now.
2) I have something better for you.
3) Your motives aren’t right.

When you’re certain God has shut a door, you’ll question him or yourself, your skills, and your worth. That’s fine. Go ahead and process the hurt and confusion. When you’re ready to move on, shut the monkey mind down and align yourself with God.

1) Surrender and say, “Not my will Lord, but yours be done.”
2) Bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
3) Put on the garment of praise
4) Remind yourself you’re a joint-heir with Christ

This is not a demotion or a message that God doesn’t trust you. In fact, it’s the exact opposite. It’s an invitation to completely ignore the natural and see a supernatural plan you could only imagine. It requires character you’ve never had and faith you’ve only heard about.

Listen! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and have dinner with him, and he with Me. The victor: I will give him the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I also won the victory and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 3:20,21

Rise up! Stand up and get ready for something brand new. It may not be the adventure you planned or expected, but it is yours to enjoy with your Creator. He’s proud of you, your flexibility and your willingness to let go and start AGAIN!
